4th Pass Options -
=============
2 should look first inside at 5 after receiving the 4th pass from 1.
2 should be aware that 5 might be able to trap his man on the baseline side... in which case the pass down the middle to 5 is on.
2 can shoot if his man sags off to help inside.
The next best option is to pass to 3 at the Point Spot in order to swing the ball from one side of the floor to the other.
The least desirable option is to return the pass back to 1.
4th Pass Options -
=============
2 passes inside to the Mid Post.
1 cuts hard to the basket.
2 relocates to the open position created by the cutting 1.
3 down screens for 4.
4 cuts to the free-throw line.
5 must make a fast decision as which will be the next BEST pass that will lead to a score...either:
a) give a drop pass to the fast-cutting 1, or
b) pass to the relocating 2 in the corner, or
c) pass to 4 at the free-throw line.
4th Pass Options -
=============
2 passes to 3 at the Point Spot then screens away for 1.
5 flashes into the key.
4 cuts to the Pinch Post.
3 must make a fast decision as which will be the next BEST pass that will lead to a score...either:
a) pass to 5 flashing into the middle,
b) pass to 1 coming off 2's screen, or
c) pass to 4 at the Pinch Post
4th Pass Options -
=============
The least desirable option is to pass back to the spot the ball came from. This leads to stagnation of the offense.
2 passes back to 1 and screens away for 3.
