1
This press offense is designed to beat pressure by using the middle of the floor and stretch out the defense.
2 screens for 1, and then goes deep. 2 becomes our attacker, if he receives the ball, he wants to attack the basket.
4 looks to 1. 5 flashes hard to an unoccupied spot in the middle.
2
Any time you catch the ball against the press you should have three outlets.
Here 1 first looks up the sideline to 3. Secondly, 1 looks to 5 in the middle, and lastly to 4 on the reverse.
Note that 4 must stay behind the ball to be the third outlet.
3
If 1 reverses the ball to 4 in the backcourt, 4 first gives 5 a look; 5 would have to relocate to an open area.
If 5 is not open, 4 takes it on the dribble, and 5 screens away to get 3, who flashes hard to the middle.
If 3 receives the ball in the middle he can turn and look opposite to 5,or take it with a hard dribble.
4
If 4 reverses the ball back to 1, 3 can turn and screen for 2 who flashes hard to the middle. 3 goes deep to become the attacker.
At any time if the attacker is open deep, the player with the ball can throw it deep for a quick score.
