1
Setup
This is the initial setup of the offense.
The 2 (shooter) starts in low and the 5 man starts on the strong side wing.
The 3 man starts on the weak side wing.
The 4 and 1 start in the two guard front formation.
2
When all players are in formation the 5 man screens down for the 2.
The 2 steps to the split line and comes off the screen. The 2 looks to come off the screen for a jump shot.
The 5 then attempts to make a position as far inside the key as possible by turning and sealing.
3
1 passes the ball to 2.
As 2 comes off the screen they should know if they will be open for a jump shot.
If no
easy shot then 2 looks for a pass to the 5 inside the key.
When the 1 passes to the 2, the 3 makes a cut to the basket and then up screens 4. 4 cuts to the basket looking for the ball from either 2 or 5 and then backs out to the corner.
4
If nothing is on then the 2 passes back to the 1.
1 reverses the ball quickly to 3.
As the ball is reversed 5 sets an up screen for 2. Screen is set not far from key.
2 goes off the bottom side of the screen unless the defense cheats and then 2 can come over the top.
5
As 2 gets to the basket 4 down screens 2 near the hoop.
As 1 passes the ball in a reverse 1 relocates to the wing and the 5 relocates to the high guard spot.
6
Same continuity as before.
3 passes the ball to 2.
As 2 comes off the screen they should know if they will be open for a jump shot.
If no easy shot then 2 looks for a pass to the 4 inside the key.
When the 3 passes to the 2, the 1 makes a cut to the basket and then up screens 5.
5 cuts to the basket looking for the ball from either 2 or 4 and then backs out to the corner.
